Rathna Residency - Hotel in Chennai

Excellent location and staff, thanks to Maran and his colleagues who made our stay very easy and calm. We were in Chennai for some shopping and the location of this hotel helped us. The inhouse breakfast and lunch also was worthy, tasty and above all good for stomach with no food colors.

We opted to stay at this hotel because of its proximity to the Metro and its reviews on cleanliness. Our stay here was short.. just three nights, but it was wonderful. The front desk staff were extremely courteous and helpful, and tended to our every request promptly. My wife and I are a stickler for cleanliness and the state of rooms surpassed our expectations. Kitchen staff, under the guidance of Ms. Priscilla, the restaurant manager catered to our every need. Food was simple and delicious. The service is prompt. Whether it was a beverage selection, a particular snack or an entree item, Ms. Pricilla’s recommendations were spot on. We pretty much had all our meetings in the restaurant. There was a certain warmth, and genuineness in the way we were treated, that we felt right at home. I would not hesitate in recommending this place to anybody. Whether your trip be business or pleasure - this place is perfect and is great value for the money. We will definitely be staying here again as it more than just fulfills our needs. Our thanks to the management and staff for a wonderful experience.

The hotel is very nice, neat and clean with friendly staff. The front desk, dining room staff and others were very helpful. The breakfast was AWESOME! All the items were so good and tasty.

This is my second time to Chennai from Malaysia. I must applaud the hospitality extended in this hotel. The front desk was very helpful in navigating routes to transport shopping items to room. The star winner is the kitchen section manager, Ms Priscilla who served us this time as well, she is very accommodating and welcoming. The food is home comfort. The rooms are neat, cosy and clean. A good start for the beginners in Chennai.

The lady at front desk, dining room staff and others were very helpful. The breakfast was AWESOME! All the items were so good and tasty. Only thing which I dont know is if anyone looking for a family with 2 adults and 2 kids (total of 4) or more, then I am not sure if this is a good option or not.
